Kim Kardashian’s wedding this past weekend, has inspired many women to go back to basic, black and white colors. Yesterday, I was given the task by a prospect client to create an inspiration board for a black and white themed wedding. The result an inspiration board full elegance and classicism. My inspiration, the martini-candle she wants to use as a favor. As you can see, we kept the white as the main color throughout the whole board, using black only as an accent. It gives the décor a whole new level of elegance.
My advice for those of you out there who wants to use the black and white theme, use the black as accent and not as a complimentary color. Too much black can make the décor and the whole idea dull and too heavy, to the point it can make it look like a Halloween party and not the classy and elegant wedding you always dream of.
